ASG Announces Free Online Tool to Verify Certification

Authenticated Stamp Guaranty™®™ (ASG™®®) has certified more than 100,000 stamps since the company was founded in 2017. To help collectors verify and view the many ASG-certified stamps in the marketplace, ASG has now launched a free Verify ASG Certification tool that can be accessed anytime, anywhere on computers and smartphones.

With this free online tool, users can verify the certification and grade of any stamp in an ASG holder. The tool also displays images of virtually every ASG-certified stamp, allowing users to compare a holdered stamp in hand with the online image to check that it is authentic and has not been tampered with.

To use the Verify ASG Certification tool, go to ASGstamps.com/verifyASGstamps.cn/verifyASGstamps.hk/verify. Then, enter a stamp’s ASG certification number and grade to access its description, ASG grade and images. (The hyphen in the certification number does not need to be entered.)

The Verify ASG Certification tool is available around-the-clock from anywhere in the world, in both English and Chinese. If ASG is aware of a potential problem with an ASG-certified stamp or its holder, the search result will include an alert.

This helpful online tool is just one of many ways that ASG certification is making the stamp collecting world safer and more vibrant. Stamps certified by ASG are encapsulated in tamper-evident, crystal clear holders with a label featuring the stamp’s description, ASG grade, a unique ASG certification number and a barcode.
