The ASG Population Report is Now Live!

Stamp collectors, your time has come — the ASG Population Report is now live on ASG’s websites! Go here to check out how many stamps have been graded by type and to determine the relative rarity of stamps graded by ASG.

The ASG Population Report is a powerful tool that provides an up-to-date catalog of the stamps that have been graded by ASG, organized by country, era and denomination. Use the search function near the top of the screen to look for a specific stamp or use the dropdown menu to sort the ASG Population Report to your liking. It’s also super easy to use and accessible from nearly any device, including phones, tablets and computers.

Dynamic search capabilities

By working closely with the ASG grading team, the ASG Population Report has been designed with stamp collectors and enthusiasts in mind. On the main page, collectors can look for a specific stamp by issue, country, year, denomination, variety and more by typing in the search field, which has predictive search functionality. Click on the desired search result and go right to the Population Report data for that specific stamp.

Users can also browse the ASG Population Report by clicking on a country and then an era (for example, clicking on China reveals various eras that can be selected). The era listing shows the number of stamps graded for each era. Click on an era, and the list of names shows the number of stamps that have been certified for the specific denomination in total as well as in each grade. Each grade is clickable to reveal a breakdown of the number of stamps certified by ASG with every combination of numeric modifiers.

The dynamic search functionality within each stamp era enables users to quickly find a specific stamp within that era. Type in a stamp denomination, and the list automatically filters down to any stamps featuring that denomination within the era, along with the number of stamps that have been certified by ASG in total as well as in each grade.
