Posted on 6/18/2025

The rare miniature sheet is among 30 lots of ASG-certified Chinese stamps available in the late June auction.

A wide selection of vintage and modern Chinese stamps certified by Authenticated Stamp Guaranty® (ASG®), led by a high-grade miniature commemorative stamp sheet created for the 15th anniversary of the People's Republic of China, are being offered in an upcoming sale. Online bidding is already underway for John Bull Auctions' 2025 Summer Auction - Sale 345, which takes place June 21-25, 2025.

The top ASG-certified highlight in the auction is a China 1964 24 Fen - PRC 15th Anniversary Miniature Sheet graded ASG VF/XF 88 Mint OG (lot 3583), with a starting price of HKD 24,000 (about $3,000). This commemorative sheet of stamps pays tribute to the creation of the People's Republic of China in 1949. The miniature sheet was issued in 1964 as part of the 15th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, with only 30,000 examples issued. It is exceedingly rare to find an example of this commemorative anniversary sheet in a high grade like this particular example.
